During our stay at Hotel Hof Van Gelre, our family had a fantastic time exploring the surrounding area and making use of the hotel's amenities. The openlucht theater in Lochem was a cultural highlight, and our children especially enjoyed the interactive displays at Eungs Schoppe Museum. the hotel offered activities such as billiards and darts, which provided great entertainment for the whole family. We were delighted with the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff, making our stay even more enjoyable.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if there had been a designated play area for children. It would have provided a safe and fun space for our kids to enjoy and interact with other young guests.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The location was perfect, really close to the center of the small city and within walking distance to all the bars, restaurants, and theater. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my mini-break here even more enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed, like an ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, and a cozy sitting area. The terrace and garden furniture outside were lovely, perfect for enjoying breakfast and evening drinks. There was even an indoor swimming pool and sun terrace, which was a great bonus. I was impressed with the quality of service and the relaxing atmosphere of this place.
